How does AI nutrition tracking work?
Take a photo of your meal and our AI analyzes it in about 3 seconds. It identifies the foods, estimates portions, and calculates not just calories and macros, but the specific nutrients that matter for postpartum recovery — iron, calcium, folate, and more. You can also search our USDA food database, scan barcodes, and adjust serving sizes with real-time nutrient updates.
Is my baby's data safe?
Absolutely. We take data privacy extremely seriously, especially when it comes to children. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell or share your data. We comply with COPPA (children's privacy law) and give you full control over your data.
What makes this different from Huckleberry or Cal AI?
Huckleberry is great for sleep tracking but has no nutrition features. Cal AI tracks calories but isn't built for postpartum recovery. MyParentCircle™ combines baby tracking, nutrition (with breastfeeding mode and postpartum-specific nutrients), smart calendar, and co-parent sharing in one app. You'd need 4 separate apps to get what we offer.
How does co-parent sharing work?
Invite your partner via email from the app. Once they accept, they get real-time access to baby tracking and calendar data. Nutrition sharing is optional — the account owner can enable it via the co-parent permissions toggle. When one parent logs a feeding at 2am, the other sees it instantly. Either parent can leave the family circle at any time. Need to invite a nanny or grandparent? Caregiver access (Pro) lets you invite them with limited, customizable permissions separate from co-parent sharing.
How does vaccine tracking work?
The vaccine tracker follows the CDC recommended immunization schedule. Based on your baby's age, it shows which vaccines are due and when. You can mark doses as given with dates, and the app schedules reminders for upcoming vaccines. It's a record-keeping tool to help you stay organized — always follow your pediatrician's actual vaccination recommendations.
What does "breastfeeding mode" do?
Breastfeeding requires approximately 500 extra calories per day. When you enable breastfeeding mode, your daily calorie and nutrient goals automatically adjust upward. The AI insights also shift to focus on nutrients critical for postpartum recovery and milk production — iron, calcium, folate, and protein. It's nutrition tracking that actually understands your body right now.
